Used to program Limpoff modules

Module adaptation * – the process of assigning the correct numbers (VIN, chassis, etc.) to the emergency module of the ACM control unit for full identification by the electronic system of the car or by a diagnostic tool in subsequent operation.

Advantages of adaptation:
Limpoff modules have the ability to connect and exchange data with a diagnostic tool. When diagnosing a car, it is impossible to distinguish between the operation of the emulator and the standard control unit of the ACM system. This facilitates the operation of vehicles that are under warranty, and service at authorized dealerships.
The correct number of the ACM system, programmed in the LimpOff emergency module, is necessary for the electronic system of the car to make changes to the software of other control units of the car during maintenance or repair (replacement of one of the control units, updating the firmware, etc.)

Adaptation process:
Connect the module to the adapter; Turn on the ignition; Connect the adapter with the connected module to the OBDII diagnostic connector of the car;
Follow the adaptation process by the light indication of the adapter:
– Red LED flashing – adaptation process is in progress
– Green LED is on – adaptation completed successfully
– Red LED is on – adaptation process not completed

Turn off the ignition and proceed with the installation of the module
Also, the Limpoff-OBDII adapter allows you to delete fault codes, including software replacement of components such as NOx sensors, DPF particulate filter, and reset the soot level (the last two are applicable for Euro6). To do this, after installing the module in the A174 connector, connect the adapter to the OBD II diagnostic connector and turn on the ignition and wait until the green LED stops blinking and lights up permanently (approximately 10 seconds).
